April 8th 2024 Solar Eclipse
On April 8th 2024, we will experience a solar eclipse. River Academy of Excellence will have an 11am dismissal. NASA states that the eclipse will happen in Pittsburgh from 2:00pm – 4:30pm. We ask you to not have your children look at the sun directly or indirectly through a camera lens, telescope, binoculars, or any other optical device and apply sunscreen if out in the sun.
